The spectrum of services provided includes: joint reconstruction, sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery, spine surgery, pediatrics orthopedic. The unit is staffed with 3 Consultant, 3 Assistant Consultant and 1 Resident.
The section pioneered the surgery of joints reconstruction primary and revision and has continued to lead the bilateral knee joint arthroplasty in the kingdom. Close to 1,000 Total Knee in the past 8 years in addition to Adult and Pediatric Scoliosis Surgeries.
Requirements:
- American Boards or Canadian FRCPC
- A minimum of ten years post-specialty certification experience in orthopedics in North America, including a minimum of three years of experience as Head of Orthopedics
