The 30-bed Cardiovascular Telemetry (CVT) Unit at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Jeddah treats both adult and pediatric patients.
The most common conditions include:
* post-myocardial infarction
* congestive heart failure
* cardiomyopathy
* unstable anginas
* recurrent dysrythmias
* Various forms of cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries
Nursing responsibilities include cardiovascular monitoring, intra-aortic balloon pump, peritoneal and hemodialysis, PRISMA.
Nurse to patient ratio:
1 : 4 (depending on acuity)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree or Diploma in Nursing, and
- Current nursing (RN) license in Canada or the United States, and
- A minimum of two years current experience as a Registered Nurse in CVT, working in a mid- to large-sized acute-care hospital in North America.
- Positions available in both Adult CVT and Pediatric CVT.
