Cardiovascular Research Unit of the Department of Biological and Medical Research, Research Centre. The unit needs to examine underlying mechanisms of cardiomyopathies and heart failure.
Comprehensive molecular techniques including primary cardiac cell isolation, microarray analysis, molecular imaging, Chromatin immunoprecipitation assays, siRNA technology and recombinant adenovirus will be applied to study gene regulation, chromatin remodeling and signaling in the heart.
Requirements:
- Must hold a PhD in Molecular and/or Cellular Biochemistry.
- Experience in standard molecular biology, biochemistry and animal handling required.
- Dedicated, self-motivated scientist with good team spirit.
