The Cardiac Cath Lab at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, provides service to all cardiac, adult and pediatric patients of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The most common procedures include: diagnostic right and left heart catheterization, PTCA, intraortic balloon pump insertion, pulmonary valvuloplasty, PDA occlusion, AS closure, VS closure,
insertion of temporary pacemakers, implantation of permanent pacemakers.
The Cardiac Cath Lab provides a 24-hour service operating from 0700 – 1900 hrs, Saturday through Wednesday. The remaining hours are covered on an on-call basis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, or Associate’s degree, or diploma in Nursing, and
- Current nursing (RN) license in Canada or the United States, and
- A minimum of two years current experience as a Registered Nurse, of which at least one must be in the specialty area, working in a mid- to large-sized acute-care hospital in North America.
