The surgical clinic provides nursing care to patients prior to admission for surgery and after discharge from surgery, as wall as patients with medical problems. There are 18 examination and consultation rooms, divided into 5 modules. The clinic serves for both Adult and Pediatric patients.
Areas: Urology; Thyroid Surgery; Plastic Surgery – Cleft Lip Clinic and Combined Cleft lip; General Surgery; Pediatric Surgery; Surgical Oncology; Colo-rectal Surgery; Post-Renal Transplant Surgery
Hours of Operations:
5 days per week
Saturday – Tuesday : 0800 – 1800 hrs
Wednesday : 0800 – 1700 hrs
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree or Diploma in Nursing, and
- Current nursing (RN) license in Canada or the United States, and
- A minimum of two years current experience as a Registered Nurse, of which at least one must be in the specialty area, working in a mid- to large-sized acute-care hospital in North America.
- Good computer skills required.
